Pauline E. Gray Robison, with love and fondness, we remember Pauline E. Gray Robison, born December 16, 1904 near Gower, MO.
First born of Dulcie Belle Howard and Ira Gray, she was the oldest of 4 siblings.
Pauline graduated from Lawton High School in 1921 and the University of Oklahoma in 1929 with a teaching degree.
She married Marvin Robison in 1930 in Centenary Methodist Church in Lawton. The family moved from Lawton to Phoenix in 1948. Pauline started teaching 4th grade at Montebello Elementary School in 1954. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church since 1948.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin T. Robison (February 2, 1954); sisters, Frances Mirian Sullivan and Dorothy Lee Davisson; and brother, C. Fred Gray. Pauline is survived by two daughters, Janice Lynn Robison Hodges and Elizabeth Ann Robison; grandchildren, Karen Ann Hodges Lyons (Jon), Susan Lynn Hodges Meuser (John), Virginia Lynn Symcox Ferrin (Doug), Thomas Robert Hodges (Sheila), and Caitlin Anne McKenna-Wilkinson (Jay): great grand-children, James Robert Lyons, Elizabeth Karen Lyons, Bryce Robert Hodges and Meagan Annette Hodges: and many nieces and nephews.
Pauline died at the age of 98 from natural causes.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 11, 2003 at Mercer Chapel in the Garden, 1541 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, with visitation one hour prior.
Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Lawton, Oklahoma, at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 14, 2003.
Burial will be handled by Lawton-Ritter-Gray Funeral Home.
