Evelyn M. Fry, age 81, went to be with her Lord on June 12, 2011, in Prescott, Ariz. She was born on Aug. 24, 1929, in Plainview, Texas, to Ilgar and Opal (McClure) Lambert.
Evelyn attended Muleshoe High School in Texas and soon after married her sweetheart, Dale Fry on Oct. 26, 1947. She was a devoted wife and mother and very active church member. Her faith was paramount to her. She was very active in the senior group at her church.
Evelyn is survived by her sons, Dale (Carol) Fry and Bill Fry; her grandchildren, Dena McNeil, DeAnne DeVous and Lana Fry; her great grandchildren, Joseph Fry, Jordan McNeil, Tiffany DeVous, Jacob McNeil and Dale Michael DeVous; two brothers; and two sisters.
A service for Evelyn will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Prescott Life Church, 2200 N. Highway 89, Prescott, Ariz. A brief reception will follow the service with a burial to follow.
