RINER, Clair Ralph


Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, June 11, 2011 - Clair Ralph Riner, 78, passed away on Sunday, June 05, 2011 in Lake Havasu City. He was born on June 18, 1932 in Altoona, Pa. to Charles and Flora Riner. Clair served his country proudly in the US Marine Corps, serving from 1950-1952 during the Korean Conflict. He married his beloved wife, Vicky, in Farmington Hills, Mich. on April 28, 1990 and together they moved to Lake Havasu City 20 years ago. Clair was a life member of the Masonic Lodge, past commandant of the Marine Corps League, member of the ELKS BPOE, 2399, Eagles Aerie #4299 and the American Legion. Clair was a man of great character who will be deeply missed and always loved by those that knew him. Clair is survived by his wife of 21 years, Vicky Riner of Lake Havasu City; daughters, Kathy, Diane and Gayle Riner and Kelli Wannamaker and her significant other, Steve Nunemacher; grandchildren, Cody DeWolfe and Jordan DeWolf. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Flora Riner, brothers, Earl and Donald Riner, sisters, Verna Eboch, Edna Riner, Wilma Riner and Mae Aurandt, son, Jason Wanamaker. A Lodge of sorrow will take place at the ELKS lodge on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 11 a.m. The Marine Corps League will present military honors.
