Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, June 15, 2011 Melouise Renee Elgo Yazzie, age 35, of San Carlos, passed away on May 25, 2011 at Banner Baywood. She was born Aug. 10, 1975 at San Carlos IHS Hospital. Melouise was preceded in death by Norton and Ada (Polk) Elgo, and her brother, Leon Elgo. She is survived by her spouse, Eric Yazzie; daughter, Shantel Yazzie; parents, Melvin and Imogene Elgo; sister, Peggy Elgo; brothers, Melin Elgo, Jr. and Levi Elgo; grandmother, Dorothy Smith; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A wake was held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 4 p.m. Funeral services were held Sunday, June 5 at 1 p.m. at the World Evangelism Center.
