Thomas Harvey Gordon, 64 years old, was killed instantly yesterday morning at 6 o'clock when he walked into a moving airplane propeller at Echeverria Field 16 miles west of here. He had been employed at the field as a guard since August and at the time of the accident was guarding a disabled plane.
At this writing, complete details as well as funeral arrangements and survivors were unavailable, reports are that he is survived by his wife, Hetty, a son and daughter and his mother, Mrs Sarah Gordon. He lived at Aguila for a time but recently moved south of here near the Purdy ranch.
The management of Echeverria Field stated today that this is the only serious accident since the field has been in operation.

Thomas H Gordon, 64 years old was laid to rest in the Wickenburg Cemetery following funeral services conducted by the Rev Ross Cleeland in the Wickenburg Chapel last Saturday morning.
Mr Gordon was killed Thursday morning when in some way he walked into a moving airplane propeller at the Echeverria Field.
Although a civilian, Mr Gordon gave his life for his country since he was engaged in defense work at the time of the accident. His patriotism, love of country and desire to accomplish whatever work necessary to help, will long be remembered by those who are left to carry on the tremendous job.
