Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from June 10 to June 17, 2011 - Adam Robert "Big Bob" Jenkins, age 34, a 34-year resident of Needles Calif., died Sunday, June 5, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nev. Adam, a laborer, was born November 29, 1976, in Needles, Calif. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Whalia Erica Jenkins; father, Neil Jenkins Jr.; two grandfathers, Harwood Jenkins and Rudy "Chan" Loera; grandmother, Winona (Bryan) Loera; two uncles, Gilman Jenkins, Norwood Jenkins; and aunt, Jerelyn Sandra Jenkins. Adam is survived by his son, Adam Jenkins Jr., of Needles, Calif; parents, Lena Michele (Bryan) and Alex Holmes; grandmother, Minerva Scott Jenkins; four siblings, Neil Jenkins Jr., Joshua Jenkins, Sarah Kormes, and Jordan Holmes, all of Mohave Valley; uncle, Reginald Loera, of Mohave Valley; seven aunts, Joann Gates, of Mohave Valley, Gayle Drennan, of Needles, Calif., Sharon Henry of Lapwai, Idaho, Jennifer Villalobos of Needles, Calif., Lydia Ruiz of Fort Mohave, Judy Bricker, and Katherine Castillo also of Mohave Valley; two great-uncles, Rudy Bryan of Needles, Calif., and Eddie Loera, of Rialto, Calif.; seven great-aunts, Myrna Havatone and Mildred Fisher of Parker, Ariz., Irene Mendez, Molly Loera, Alice Loera, of Needles, Calif., Stella Mejia and Liz Fragoso. Fort Mojave Tribal Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Fort Mojave Tribal Gymnasium, 500 Merriman, Needles, Calif. Services will follow at the Fort Mojave Tribal Mourning Hall, 700 Harrison Street, Needles, Calif. Fort Mojave Traditional Burial will be at 5:00 a.m., on Sunday, June 12, 2011, at Fort Mojave Tribal Cemetery, 800 Harrison Street, in Needles, Calif. Arrangements are under the care of Dimond and Sons, Needles Mortuary.
