SWITZER, Scott Duane

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ January 14, 2007 Scott Duane Switzer, 56, of Sedona, died Jan. 4, 2007. Scott was born July 27, 1950, in San Pedro, Calif., to Jean and William Switzer. Scott worked as a food server at the Heartland Café in Sedona. He also worked as a painter. Scott is survived by his wife, Cathy Switzer of Sedona; his sons, Sean Switzer of Kauai, Hawaii, Wyatt Switzer and Wesley Switzer, both of Sedona; his father, William Switzer; his brother, Steve Switzer of Redondo Beach, Calif.; his sister, Shelly Vargas of Rohnert Park, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews. Scott is preceded in death by his mother, Jean Switzer. A celebration of Scott's life is being planned. Bueler Funeral Home assisted the family.
