The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ January 14, 2007 Carroll A. Benson, 79, of Sedona, died Jan. 8, 2007. Carroll was born Dec. 14, 1927, to the late Quma and Oscar Anderson. Carroll is survived by her son, William Benson of Cottonwood; her daughters, Elizabeth Holmgren of Sitka, Alaska, and Katherine Lee Beckstrom of Port Orchard, Wash.; her brothers, John B. Anderson and Sherman Anderson, both of Salt Lake City, Utah; her sister, Sally Whitting of Billings, Mont.; and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. today, Jan. 14, at the chapel of Bueler Funeral Home, 143 Arnold St., in Camp Verde. Bueler Funeral Home assisted the family.
