STONE, Clifford (Sarge)

Wickenburg (AZ) Sun Friday, September 25, 1959, p 2 Clifford (Sarge) Stone, who has spent eight winters in Wickenburg where he was active at the Country Club, died June 2 while visiting a sister, Mrs Kathleen Hendricks, in Bow, Wash. According to a letter from Mrs Hendricks, a sister, received by Ben Pollman, Mr Stone, who was about 65 years old and a retired Army sergeant, had been in ill health for several years. His death was caused by a heart attack. When in Wickenburg, Mr Stone helped out at the Country Club as needed and gave free golf lessons to many local residents.
