HAHOLY, Edward H. (Nono)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, July 11, 2003 Edward "Nono" H. Haholy, age 87, passed away at his home the afternoon of July 8, 2003. Born in Pasuraun, Java on April 12, 1916, he is proceeded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Charlotte "Dee" Haholy. He was in the Dutch East Indies military as a Master Sgt. Major, he is a WWII POW survivor of 4 years, retired from SRP after 23 years and 1 month of loyal service. He loved photography as a hobby. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2003 at 10:30 am at First Baptist Church in Phoenix, 7000 N. Central Ave. Survivors include: Olga and Rudy Ouwens and their son Rudy Jr.; daughters: Flora Frazier and Christine Sweeny; sons: Richard Haholy (Stephanie), Ron Haholy (Annette); grandchildren: Donna Lesman (Craig), Kimberly Frazier, Susan Autieri (Steve), Trisha Mulligan (Tony), Cynthia Hort (Joey), Laura Haholy, Ryder Haholy; and 11 great-grandchildren.
