Jack Erwin
Jack Erwin Latter, 62, was born on December 22, 1940 in Detroit, MI and died peacefully in Phoenix AZ on July 4, 2003 after a long period of ill health.
He is survived by his beloved wife MaryAnne; his three children Kevin, Kate, and Kelly; one grandson Jordan; and his brother Ernie. Jack grew up in Michigan and moved to Phoenix after serving four years in the U.S. Air Force. He married his wife in 1962. The family later moved to Lubbock, TX where they lived for more than 10 years. He and his wife returned to Phoenix in 1988. Jack worked as a hydro engineer and was very active as a volunteer leader in the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He was active in the Maryvale Moose lodge. Noted for his tenacious sense of humor and charm, Jack enjoyed music, nature, family life, and the pursuit of a good bargain. He will be missed.
Mrs. Latter suggests that mem-orial donations may be made to The Church at Litchfield Park.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, July 17 at 5:00pm at The Church at Litchfield Park at 300 N. Old Litchfield Rd., Litchfield Park, AZ 85340.
