Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Tuesday, June 21, 2011 Maria De Refujio Hernandez, 86, a part-time Flagstaff resident, died June 14, 2011. She was born Nov. 24, 1926, in Aguas Calentes, Mexico. At a young age, she moved to Zacatecas, Mexico, where she lived and raised her children. She came to Flagstaff every year for months at a time, living with her son and visiting family. Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her sons, Lupe (Maria) Ortega, Raul (Lucille) Ortega, Luis (Marivel) Ortega and Victor Ortega; daughters Andrea, Alejandra, Lola, Gloria, Lupita and Matilda; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
