Timi Gene Hoyle, born Feb. 1, 1958, in Seoul, Korea, passed away suddenly on Sept. 28, 2007, at his home.
Tim, a Prescott resident for the past 33 years, was a graduate of Prescott High School, attended Yavapai Community College and completed his education in architectural design at ASU in Tempe, Ariz., where he was on the Dean's List.
Tim's artistic talent was first recognized in Junior High School where he was named outstanding industrial arts student in drafting. He continued to receive many honors throughout his education, including a Certificate of Merit during his Introcution to Engineering studies at ASU.
Through the years, Tim earned the respect of local architects that he worked with who recognized his artistic gifts in architectural illustration. Tim felt that all children should be exposed to the arts and the color around them.
Close friends and mentors were Mike Janssen, LynnVan Landingham and Paul Lovell. He once hiked the Grand Canyon with Mike and Paul. Tim considered everyone at New Hope Center his extended family.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Hoyle; his brother, Don Hoyle and nephew Gary Floyd.
He is also survived by his mother Jean Hoyle; sisters, Dianna and Bonnie; and brothers, Glen, Berry, Roy and Anthony. He also leaves behind many adoring nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Tim's life will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at New Hope Community Church, 1801 Guadalupe, Gilbert, Az., 85234. Interment will be at Mariposa Gardens in Mesa, Ariz.
In lieu of flowers, Tim's family would appreciate a donation in his memory to New Hope Center, 599 Whitespar Road, Prescott, Az., 86303.
