The Prescott Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, November 9, 2007 Joe Finn, 75, was born Nov. 30, 1931, and passed away on Nov. 5, 2007, after a long battle with COPD. He is survived by his wife of 54years, Dee; daughter Dale (David Agosta); sons Kevin (Sally) and Brian (Melody); and grandchildren Ryan, Kelly, Patrick and Anna. Joe was born in Ashland, Pa., and subsequently moved to Philadelphia, Pa., Dover, Del., and Southern California. He was a graduate of LaSalle University, majoring in marketing. He proudly said that he was "in women's underwear for 40 years," working for Playtex and Olga/Warner, and retiring from Olga as Director of Distribution in 1997. He loved Native American art, the mountains and forest and would gladly have been buried in his backyard. He kept his wonderful senseof humor through his illness, charming and entertaining countless nurses and health care workers along the way. He greatly appreciated Hospice of the Pines (especially Linda), and caregivers Marline, Anna and Marge. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 150 Fleury Avenue, Prescott. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or your favorite charity. Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
