James W. Foust passed away quietly and peace fully surrounded by his wife of 29 years, his children and grandchildren. He was born in Parker, Pennsylvania, to Glenn and Glenna Foust.
Jim enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country in World War II. After that he settled in California where in 1973 he met the love of his life, Gisela. They married in 1977 raising two children and working their respective professions. After retiring, they moved to Prescott, Ariz.
In Prescott, Jim helped Gisela take care of her elderly parents at their home. Living together and enjoying each other's company helped ease the passing of Walter Miller in 1996 and Marie Miller in 2005.
Over the years Jim enjoyed reading, golfing, cooking, traveling and being with friends and family. He had the most wonderful ability to listen and engaging friends and family with insight and wisdom.
Jim died the same way he lived, with courage and concerned about his family to the last moments.
Jim leaves behind his loving wife, Gisela Foust; his son, Tim (Sharon) Mollema; his daughter, Tina Fox; his grandchildren, Alexandra and Zach Mollema, Chandler and Peighton Fox; and sisters, Phillys Landry and Kay Comer.
Jim's family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. William Dabney, Dr. Patel and Dr. Bob Friedman: Also, to all the helping hands of Granite Mountain Hospice and our special angel, Barbara Sage, who tended to Jim and family with so much kindness and love.
