The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, June 24, 2011 Jean A. Lawrence, 80, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., passed away on June 20, 2011. She was born on May 29, 1931, in Blue Anchor, N.J., to Anthony and Jenny Avellino. Jean and her family moved to Phoenix, Ariz., in 1966. In 2002, she and her husband moved to Prescott Valley. Jean enjoyed charitable giving; her family and friends and her pets, including a talking parrot; gardening, crossword puzzles and helping out at her daughter Nancy's grooming shop "Best in Show" in Prescott Valley. Jean is predeceased by her husband, Philip Lawrence. She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Camillo) DiBiase of Phoenix and Nancy Miller (Brian) of Chino Valley; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her sister Antoinette Delareto; and brother Vince Avellino.
