The Prescott Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, October 22, 2006 Thelma Mae Kinney, age 98, of Prescott Valley, born Sept. 4, 1906, in Plankinton, N.D., died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at New Horizon Care Center in Prescott Valley. Private cremation will be at Bradshaw Crematory. Kinney was born in Plankington, South Dakota, to David and Minnie Keith on Sept. 4, 1908. She went to her Heavenly home on Oct. 21, 2006, surrounded by members of her family. Thelma is survived by her daughters, Beverly Monaghan of Somerset Center, Michigan and Barbara Poland of Prescott, Ariz.; a son, Lloyd Gilbertson of Council, Idaho; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Kinney; sons Wayne and Dale; grandsons Michael Poland and Robert Carriveau; and brothers Glen, Garland, Harold and Donald Keith. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. A celebration of her life will take place at 11 a.m. on Nov. 3, 2006, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 630 Park Avenue in Prescott.
