Gary Lee Giersch, age 57, a 30-year resident of Fort Mohave, died Thursday, June 9, 2011, in Ft. Mohave, Ariz. He was born March 7, 1954, in Huntington Park, Calif.
Gary worked as a Maintenance Engineer and also served in the US Air Force.
He loved outdoor activities, fishing, barbecuing, riding his Harley and being with friends and family.
Gary was preceded in death by his father and older brother.
He is survived by his two daughters, Victoria Arkhurst of Newark, Del., and Evelyn Giersch of Elkton, Md.; two sons, Anthony and Michael Giersch of Needles, Calif.; Mother, Betty Giersch of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; sister, Betty Porter of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; granddaughter, Keiana Giersch of Elkton, Md.; grandson, Malakai Arkhurst of Newark, Del.; his fiance, Diane Lamping of Henderson, Nev.; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was always there when someone needed help. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend.
There will be no services per Gary's request.
