YOUNG, Rena A.

The Prescott Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, July 11, 2006 Rena A. Young, age 88, of Prescott, Ariz., died on July 9, 2006. She was born November 11, 1917, in Tupper Lake, N.Y. Rena, a member of St. Germaine Church, was active in many areas as a volunteer. Rena was also a member of the Lay Carmelite Order. Rena is survived by sons, Norman (Paula White) of Portage, Mich. and William of Cortland, Ohio; daughters, Dee of Prescott and Sr. Ann Rita Young of Sylvania, Ohio; and eight grandchildren. Rena is preceded in death by her husband Norman Young; sisters, Rita Pagel and Evelyn Cunningham; and brothers, Leo and Clarence Cormier. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, July 13, 2006, from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Germaine Catholic Church in Prescott Valley, Ariz., with a Rosary to be held at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Resurrection in honor of Rena will follow at 10 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home.
