The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Jan 2, 1969, p. 7 MARVIN ROPER Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. December 28 at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Marvin Roper, who died December 24 in Community Hospital. Fr. Wm. D. White officiated and burial was in the Wickenburg cemetery. Mr. Roper was 55 years of age and had lived here since the early 1940's. He was an upholsterer. Surviving are his wife Etta and a daughter Mrs Margaret Mesa.
