The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Jan 2, 1969, p. 7 DR. JAMES SKUSE Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 20 in Sarasota, Florida, for Dr. James B. Skuse, retired Dentist who lived in Wickenburg for a number of years prior to moving to Sarasota in 1956. Fr. J. Moody McNair of the First Presbyterian Church of Sarasota officiated and Masonic graveside services were held at Palms Memorial Park. Dr. Skuse, who was 67 years of age, was born in Chicago, Ill. He received his D. D. S. from Northwestern University and was a Dentist from 1923 to 1952 in Cleveland and Shaker Heights, Ohio. The Skuse home here was in the C-4 Tract west of town. Dr. Skuse is survived by his wife Mrs. Dorothy Wallner Skuse, two daughters, three step-daughters and two step-sons. One of the latter, John A. Burkholder, is a resident of Phoenix. Fourteen grandchildren also survive.
