The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Jan. 23, 1969, p. 11 WALTER SMITH Funeral services were to be held in Kearney, Neb., for Walter Smith, age 87, a resident of Wickenburg since 1950, who died January 17 in Community Hospital where he had been a patient several days. He was born December 6, 1881 in Illinois but lived most of his life in Kansas and Nebraska where he engaged in farming. He moved to Arizona in 1948. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. C. A. Clark of San Pedro, Calif., and six daughters, all living out of state.
