Mrs Murray Was Antique Authority
Mrs Thelma Ella Murray, a resident of the Wickenburg area for the past 16 years, died February 2 in Community Hospital here after a lingering illness.
She was born Gasconade County, Missouri, in 1884 and came to Morristown in 1952 for health reason. She was greatly benefited.
She was a well known authority on antique silver, pewter and china. She had a rock collection of fine rock specimens at her desert home. Other hobbies included a cactus garden. She had a real love for desert flowers, birds and animals. She was a faithful contributor of good books to the Wickenburg Public library.
Mrs Murray was a member of the VFW Auxiliary of Wickenburg.
She is survived by two brothers, J. A. Todd of LaPalma, Calif., formerly of Wickenburg, and J. D. Todd of Prescott.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Wickenburg Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Bert Follmar of the Calvary Baptist Church and burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
