RENTERIA, Nellie Delores

Copper Country News, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, Jun 22nd, 2011 Nellie Delores Renteria, 62, of Globe, passed away on June 2, 2011 of natural causes at her home in Little Acres. She was born in Bisbee, Arizona on April 19, 1949 the daughter of Gilbert M. Renteria and Margaret S. Renteria. Nellie was very proficient in pottery and had a huge and loving heart for her four children and family. She is preceded in death by her father, Gilbert M. Renteria. Nellie leaves behind in loving memory her mother, Margaret Garcia (85); her four children, Michael Renteria, Rene Renteria, Raymond Ramirez Jr. (Adeline), Daniela Savannah and Sheila Rae Ramirez of Phoenix; her many grandchildren (Raymond III, Joshua, Donnie, De Ron Jr. Sydnie, Jeffrey, two great grandchildren (Natalee and Christopher), Selina, Gabby, Merissa and Manuel, Adreian and Alexyss); one sister, Mary Hughes (Russell) of Globe, Gilbert A. Renteria (Mary Alice) of Globe, Robert Renteria (Esther) of Las Vegas, Joe Renteria of Mesa, and George F Renteria Sr. of Globe, Arizona, and many nieces and nephews. Nellie was blessed to have found her true love Ralph Berdyck of 18 years, whose love was honorable and priceless. They traveled the country and enjoyed many adventures. We are eternally grateful for their life spent together. A special “thank you” to John Medlin for his caring, kindness and support of our mother. Funeral services were held Monday, June 20 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, 844 W. Sullivan St. in Miami, Arizona. Visitation was at 9 a.m., Rosary at 9:30 a.m., with the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Church. Nellie will be greatly missed by all those who know and loved her.
