RUSSELL, Sannie

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, June 29, 2011 Sannie Russell, age 91, of Peridot, Ariz. passed away on Friday, June 24, 2011 at San Carlos Indian Hospital. She was born in San Carlos, Ariz. on July 7, 1919, the daughter of Thomas and Blanche (Shorten) Russell. Sannie was a loving homemaker all her life, taking care of her family. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She was a well-known basketweaver. She is preceded in death by her children, Violet Francisco and Jimmy Patten. Sannie is survived by her daughters, Norma Patten Boni (Sam) and Pat Schurz; and her son, Johnny Patten. A wake will be on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 5 a.m. at San Carlos Miracle Church. Funeral Services will follow at 7 a.m. Interment will be at San Carlos Cemetery, San Carlos, Ariz. Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
