HAMMARGREN, Teri Jean

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, June 29, 2011 Teri Jean Hammargren, age 52 of Central Heights, Ariz., passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011. She was born in Grand Rapids, Minn. on Dec. 13, 1958, the daughter of Beverly Jean (Johnson) and Gary Roberts Hammargren. Teri was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She worked at the Gila County Learning Center for 23 years providing in-home early intervention services to children needing to learn necessary skills. She enjoyed scrap booking, gardening, cooking, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and friends. Teri always greeted everyone with a hug and a smile; she was loved by all and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents Beverly Jean LeCompte and Gary Roberts Hammargren. Teri leaves behind in loving memory her son, Bryan Harris of Globe; her fiancé, Ron Torrez of Miami, her beloved cat, Brother, sister, Sanna (Crow) Castro of Globe; brother, Alan (Lorry) Hammargren of Farmington, N.M.; one aunt, Elaine Meade of Central Heights; step-parents, Dolly and Jim LeCompte of Claypool and Karin Hammargren of Las Cruces, N.M.; four grandchildren, Parker, Samantha, Bryan Jr. and Keenan; seven nieces and nephews and many extended family and friends. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 1 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, (Country Club Manor), 750 W. Paxton Ave., in Miami, Ariz. Funeral arrangements for Teri J. Hammargren were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Globe.
