The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 17, 1969, p. 15 JAMES FOULIS James Foulis, a golf professional in the Chicago area for nearly half a century and a resident of Wickenburg since 1965, died April 11 in Community Hospital here, following an extended illness. Private services were held Sunday afternoon at the Wickenburg Funeral Home. Born October 6, 1903 in Wheaton, Ill., Mr Foulis served as gold professional at country clubs in Hinsdale and La Grange, Ill., before retiring and moving to Arizona in 1959. He lived in Tombstone before moving to Wickenburg. The Foulis home here is in Country Club Park. He is survived by his wife Jeanne and two sons, David of Amherst, Mass., and James of South Miami, Fla., and a sister Jessie Foulis of Hinsdale. Five grandchildren also survive.
