The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 8, 1969, p. 15 GEORGE HUNTSMAN Word has been received here of the death of George W. Huntsman, a resident of Wickenburg for the past nine years, who died April 15 in La Mirado, Calif. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. April 18 from the Forest Lawn Mortuary in Cypress, Calif., with internment there. Mr Huntsman was born March 28, 1898 in Ohio. He made his home here at 66½ South Jefferson. We think it appropriate that we print a tribute to Mr Huntsman from his foster daughter Mrs Clara M. Charlton which was contained in her letter notifying us of his death. She wrote; “He was such a a sweet basic man, often horrified by man’s inhumanity to man, and he has left us a legacy of love for our fellow man, for our country, especially Wickenburg, and for God.”
