The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 29, 1969, p. 11 MRS D. C. McLEARY Mrs Virginia McLeary, 67, died Saturday in Community Hospital, Wickenburg, after a lengthy illness. Mrs McLeary, daughter of the late Mr & Mrs William Nelson, longtime residents of Wickenburg, was born in Gowan, Oklahoma. As a registered nurse, she worked in Ford Hospital in Oklahoma. For the past 40 years she had been a resident of California. Mrs McLeary was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wickenburg, where services were held Tuesday evening, May 27 at 7 o’clock with interment in the Wickenburg Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, David C., a daughter, Mrs Wayne Walter and three grandsons; a sister, Mrs Carl O. Shride of Wickenburg and a brother, Don Nelson of California.
