The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 29, 1969, p. 11 RAYMOND YATES Funeral services were held Monday of this week in Bridgeport, Nebraska, for Raymond A. Yates who died May 21 in the Veteran’s Hospital at Fort Whipple. He had made his home with his sister, Mrs Elsie Brumm at Hank’s Place east of Wickenburg since 1951. Burial took place in the Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery in Bridgeport. Mr. Yates who was born November 5, 1895 in Sweetwater, Neb., was a veteran of World War I in which he served the American Expeditionary Forces in France. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs Lind Shoeneman, Bayard, Neb., and a daughter-in-law, Mrs Wm. Yates, Minetore, Neb., and a brother, Odaville Yates of Bridgeport in addition to the sister, Mrs Brumm.
