Frank Richard Casagranda was born on January 5, 1932 in Huntington Park, California to Frank and Onorina Casagranda. He was one of four children, and his sister Dolores Dipol survives him. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Elsie Burleson, and brother Richard. His son Jamie also preceded him.
He married the love of his life Rusty Wright and they enjoyed many years together.
Frank enlisted in the US Navy and served honorably here and overseas.
He was a union carpenter, and he taught his sons everything he knew. Frank was a hard working man, and after he retired he took good care of Rusty as her health declined.
Frank died peacefully in his sleep on June 27th, 2011 at his home.
He is survived his wife of 49 years Rusty, four children and their families: Mickey from Alaska, Tanya and husband Bill of California, Frank Jr and wife Challene of Arizona, Carrie Lynn of Ohio; and sister Dolores Dipol of California, and many nieces and nephews.
He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, Raquel, Vaughn, Heather, Nichole, Travis, Kendall, Amanda, Stephanie, Corey, Charlie, Didi & Angelina.
Visitation will be at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley on Wed, July 6th from 12:00 to 1:00. Services will begin at 1:00at the funeral home with Father Dan Vollmer from St. Germaine Catholic Church officiating.
He will be laid to rest with military honors at Heritage Memorial Park at 2:00pm.
Frank was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Friend and Neighbor. He will be dearly missed by all.
