Treat Rites for Robert Gray Treat, 64, former owner of the Rim Trail Ranch on the East Verde River, near Payson, will be at 9 a.m. tomorrow in Grimshaw’s Bloom Chapel, 3800 S. Central. Burial will be in East Resthaven Cemetery. Mr. Treat died Tuesday in Wickenburg, where he had resided the past three months. He came to Phoenix in 1923. After selling his ranch in 1945, he moved to Tempe and had lived and worked as a carpenter until 1962. Born in Ottawa, Iowa, he attended Yankton College in South Dakota. He lived in New Mexico and Placerville, Calif., before going to Wickenburg. Survivors include his wife, Blanche; three stepsons, Wilbur Nay of Tempe, Harold Nay of Wichita, Kan., and L. O. Ryland of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; a sister Florence Treat of Phoenix; a brother in California; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
