The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, November 13, 2005 Joan E. Davis 81, died November 12, 2005 at her home in Camp Verde, Arizona. She was born July 27, 1924 in Carbonhill, Ohio. She moved to the Phoenix area in 1968 from her native Ohio and worked for Motorola for many years. She is survived by her husband Walter J. Davis for 62 years, a son predeceased Brett. She is survived by a son Gary Davis, Phoenix, 2 daughters Marsha Estep-Johnston, Puerto Rico, Robin Stacey, Keller, Texas, 2 sisters Nancy Carmen, Sharon Donahue, 2 brothers Harold and Howard Mitchell, 9 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, 2 aunts Helen Townsend, Eloise Harness, and her beloved "Cleo". Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, November 15 at 2:00PM at the Chapel of Hepler Funeral Home 143 Arnold Street Camp Verde, Arizona. In lieu of flowers family prefers contributions to Northern Arizona Hospice or Verde Valley Medical Center Heart Center. Hepler Funeral Home assisted the family.
