DR. JAMES STOVER
Funeral services were held in his old home of Marshall, Ill., for Dr. James D. Stover, Osteopathic Skin Surgeon who maintained his residence in Wickenburg until a few months ago. Dr. Stover, age 57, died July 15 in El Centro, Calif., after suffering a heart attack while en route to his home in Phoenix.
The Stover family came to Wickenburg seven years ago from Detroit at which time Dr. Stover opened offices in Phoenix. He commuted between Phoenix and Wickenburg until moving to the capital city.
He was a member of the Arizona Osteopathic Association and the Phoenix Trap and Skeet Club. He was graduated from the Kansas City College of Osteopathy and Surgery, was certified on the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology and was on the staff of Phoenix General Hospital.
Survivors include his wife Jane M., a daughter Susan and son Dan, both graduates of Wickenburg High School, and a brother and sister in Illinois.
