Burnett, 11-year-old Globe, Arizona youth, lost his life in a car-truck collision three miles west of Aguila August 14. His death brought the total of highway fatalities in the Wickenburg highway patrol area to eight for the year. The patrol reported to headquarters that the Burnett boy was a passenger in an eastbound car driven by his father, Bill Burnett, when a westbound truck driven by Horace F. Kinsey, Jr., of Junction, Tex., apparently changed lanes, resulting in a head-on collision. Kinsey, the dead boy’s mother, Mrs Melba Burnett, 35, and his brother Jack D. Burnett, 14, were bought to Community Hospital.
