Plastic Bag Is Cause Of Baby’s Death

When her mother stepped out of the room for a few minutes, Katherine LaMar Jones, 6½-months-old daughter of Mrs Jane Jones became entangled in a plastic laundry bag and suffocated. The child was rushed to Community Hospital where every effort at resuscitation failed. The tragedy occurred shortly before 2 p.m. August 13 at the home of the child’s grandparents, Mr & Mrs Edgar S. Idol on Country Club Drive.
