THOMAS S. COUSINS
His many friends were saddened by the unexpected death of Thomas Stinson Cousins, a resident of Wickenburg the past eleven years and widely known citizen.
His death occurred September 22 in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix, at age 65.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Alban's Episcopal Church with the rev. Gus Tuttle officiating. Masonic services will be held Friday in Gallup, New Mexico, with burial in that city.
Born in Manuelito, New Mexico, April 28, 1904, Mr. Cousins spent most of his life in that state where he engaged in the hardware business. He retired upon coming to Wickenburg in 1958, but retained an interest in the business, now operated by his brother William. He was highly skilled in the art of turning out beautiful creations in wrought iron. One of his outstanding creations is the wrought iron sign at the entrance to St. Alban's.
Mr Cousins had been a Mason since 1932 and was long affiliated with the Elks Lodge.
He is survived by his wife hazel and three brothers, William, Robert and Malin, all living in New Mexico.
