The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 11, 1969, p. 15 MRS COOKE WAS 40-YEAR RESIDENT Funeral services for Mrs Avia Eean Cooke, a resident of Wickenburg for nearly 40 of her 70 years, were held at 1 p.m. last Friday, December 5, in the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. W. Howard Blazer officiating. Mr Cooke, wife of H. D. Cooke, Sr., died December 3 in Community Hospital here. She had many friends here who will miss her cheerful, sunny disposition, her wit and humor. She was a talented writer. Mrs Cooke was the mother of Harry D. Cooke, Jr., and Richard (Dick) Cooke, both of whom, with their father, have been prominently identified with the building trades here for many years. A third son, Dan, is similarly occupied in Durham, California. A daughter, Mrs Betty of Morgan Hill, California, also survives and there are 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs Cooke was born in Twin Lakes, Colorado. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Order of Eastern Star here.
