Bliss, who lived in Wickenburg for a number of years before moving back to his old home in Leavenworth, Kan., died November 25 in that city at the age of 91. Funeral services were held November 28 at the Sexton Funeral Chapel in Leavenworth and burial was in the Mt. Muncie Cemetery there. Mr Bliss was born January 5, 1878 in Chicago. He attended schools in Kingman County, Kan., later moved to Atchison in that state to Leavenworth in 1923 where he was associated with the Voight fruit & Vegetable Co. He retired in 1927 and later moved to Wickenburg. Mr Bliss was prominent in the Masonic Lodge in Leavenworth. Surviving is his wife Dora; three daughters, a son, nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
