Gladys Kelley, of Glendale, passed away June 27, 2011. She was born in Kelley, Mont., on July 16, 1929. A lover of the Montana Mountains, but it was the Arizona desert that warmed her heart, moving to Arizona in 1969. She worked as a medical records librarian and carried her skills with her to the Salome Medical Center and then to Boecon Construction Co., working on the Central Arizona Project. She directed several singing groups, including the Wickenburg Christmas Choir in 1997-1998. Gladys was a proud survivor of polio since being diagnosed in 1952.
Her beloved husband, Jim Kelley, preceded her in death. Surviving children are Christine Mott, Eugene and James Larson, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Our Mother, our friend and a great Canasta player will be missed.
