Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from June 28 to July 5, 2011 - Raymond Edward "Jay" Jehli, Jr., age 63, a 30-year resident of the Laughlin, Nev./Bullhead City, Ariz. area, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his children, on Friday, June 17, 2011, at the Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff, Ariz. due to complications of cancer. Jay, a long-time employee of the Riverside Casino, was born on October 24, 1947, in Evergreen Park, Ill. He had not only a love for golf, but it was his passion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Jehli, Sr., and Eileen Jehli. Jay was a loving father to his children, Adam Paul, son of Lanae Baquet of Laughlin, Nev. and her daughter, Paige Marie; Jaycie Jean and Sara Eileen, daughters of Maureen Jehli of Bullhead City; beloved brother of Mary V. Flynn of San Francisco, Calif., Patricia E. Heyne of Hinsdale, Ill., Christine Jehli and Karen Jehli of Mesa, Ariz.; as well as many nephews and cousins, A funeral and memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2011, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 3055 El Mirage Way, Laughlin, Nev. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2011, at Riverside Casino in the Bridgeview Room, 1650 South Casino Drive, Laughlin, Nev.
