April 26, 2005
Sally (Southworth) St. Pierre, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at her home in Prescott, after a valiant fight against the cancer that finally claimed her. She was born in Williams, on April 17, 1938, to Ralph and Hazel (Rapalee) Southworth.
She is survived by her husband, Ray, son, Cliff, daughter, Jill, and a sister, Shirley Collin, all of Prescott; also seven nieces and nephews.
She grew up in Williams, graduated from Williams High School, then went to work as at telephone operator for Bell Telephone. After several years she started work in the U.S. Forest Service office in Williams. There, she met her future husband, Ray St. Pierre. They were married in Las Vegas, Nev., in October 1966, after which they set up housekeeping in Mesa and lived there several years before moving to Phoenix. In 1972, Ray was transferred to the Prescott Forest Service office and the family had made their home here ever since.
Sally was devoted to her home and family, loved the outdoors, and her favorite sport was playing tennis with friends at least once every week.
No services were planned but family and friends will gather at a later date to remember Sally.
