WEBER, Steven Eugene (Steve)


The Prescott Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, June 20, 2006 Steven Eugene Weber, age 66, long time resident of Prescott since 1976, passed away on June 17, 2006. Steve was born February 18, 1940 in Falls City, Neb. He was an active member of the business community and proprietor of Weber s Insurance Service for more than 25 years. He loved mingling, visiting and taking care of those in the community. Before moving to Prescott in 1976, Steve was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps for 16 years. He enjoyed bowling, boating, fishing and most sports. Steve and his family were frequent visitors to Lake Powell and Lake Mead. He was an avid fisherman especially deep-sea fishing. He was also a Diego Chargers and Phoenix Suns sports fan. In addition, Steve was a member of the Prescott Community Church. Steve is survived in death by his wife of 47 years, Marilyn M. Weber; his father Walter V. Weber; his brothers Victor Weber and John Weber; his daughter Joanna M. Weber; and his sons Robert E. Weber, William J. (Jodi) Weber, Bruce V. (Robin) Weber; three grandchildren and many longtime friends and neighbors of the community. He will be forever missed and will remain in our hearts. A memorial service in honor of Steve will be held on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Veterans Administration Chapel located at 500 N. Hwy. 89, Bldg. 152, in Prescott. Steve will receive full military honors for his years of service to our country and our local community. All friends and relatives are invited to attend the memorial service.
