Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, July 2, 2011 - Max C. Romano July 16, 1921 — May 26, 2011 Max C. Romano, 89, passed away on May 26, 2011, at the Prestige Assisted Living Center in Lake Havasu City. He was born in Chisholm, Minn., to Carlo and Ida (Oberto) Romano. He attended Chisholm schools. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in Europe. He lived in Los Angeles, Calif., and worked for the motion picture industry in the Technicolor Division. Upon retirement, he moved to Lake Havasu City. Max is survived by his sister, Emma Franzinelli, of Chisholm, Minn.; six nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Frances Bremer, Lily Ognanovich and Teresa Ficke. Funeral: A private burial service will take place at a later date.
