The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/05/2011 JoKay Phillips, 70, of Lakeside died June 29, 2011. She was born Feb. 25, 1941, in Fort Cobb, Okla. JoKay was loved by many. She saw the good in every person she met. She was a true blonde who loved riding the back roads. She is greatly loved and will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held in her honor and will be announced at a later date. JoKay was preceded in death by her mother, father and sister. She is survived by daughters: Lorie Watson of Tonto Basin, Jamie Harned of Chandler, Debbie Salinas of Flagstaff; son Steven Aten of Colville, Wash., sister Mary Burke of Lakeside, brother Pat Patterson of Evans, Wash. and numerous grandsons, great-granddaughter, cousins, nieces and nephews.
