Phyllis Wentz, age 84, born Dec. 28, 1921, in College View, Neb., passed into the waiting arms of her beloved savior, The Lord Jesus Christ, on Dec. 20, 2006, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center, while surrounded in the loving care of her family.

A celebration of Phyllis’ life was held at the chapel of the Ruffner Wakelin Home in Prescott on Dec. 28, 2006.  Pastor Michael Cook of the Prescott Seventh Day Adventist Church officiated.

Final committal took place at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Franklin E. Wentz, daughters, Lynn Catterall and Wendy Governile; sons, Grant Haertter and John Wentz; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
