SHINNERER, Richard A. (Rev.)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, November 8, 2007 Rev. Richard A. Shinnerer, of Claremont, Calif, joined his Savior in eternal joy on No. 4, 2007. Rev. Shinnerer was born Sept. 25, 1929, in Long Beach, Calif. He was ordained in 1954 and served Lutheran Churches in California and Arizona. He was formerly a minister at Shepherd of the Hills in Prescott and Trinity Lutheran Church in Prescott Valley. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Elaine; children, Sue Pleger, of Arizona, Rev. Craig Schinnerer of Texas, Kathy Jones of Arizona and Judy Stefanko of Arizona and eight grandchildren. A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, at Hope Lutheran Church in Glendora, California. In Lieu of flowers, donation to Lutheran World Relief are requested, 1333 S.
