WILBUR, John (Jack)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, November 10, 2007 John (Jack) Wilbur, born May 7, 1937, died at YRMC on Nov. 6, 2007. Jack, born in Sioux City, Iowa, was Director of Information Systems for Assurity Insurance Company in Lincoln, Neb., before his retirement. Jack and Ann, married for 38 years, built a house in Inscription Canyon just two years ago, and living in that house with Ann was one of Jack's dreams fulfilled. Jack and Ann were blessed with son Zac of Dallas and daughter Jaclyn Gordon (Paul) of Ft. Worth. Jack and Ann, Ann and Jack - Always together, always having fun. They were so delightful to be with; Jack's dry wit and Ann's joyful laughter were to be expected at any social encounter. Jack and Ann had begun golfing lessons recently, and although Ann was happy to stay with the "beginners," Jack, a natural athlete, learned the game so fast he was comfortable joining any threesome for a round. The family wishes to thank YRMC's ICU West staff for the respect and loving care provided to Jack and his loved ones, Paulie, Connie, the lovely woman who brought coffee, Dr. Harry Gale, and, most especially, Dr. John O'Connor, who is just the "BEST."
