Alice Wicker Toci, 95, of Prescott, born Oct. 26, 1911, in Mangum, Okla., died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, at Las Fuentes in Prescott.
A celebration of Alice’s life will take place at a later date.

Alice Nettye Wicker Toci passed away on Jan. 29, 2007, at Las Fuentes Care Ctr., Prescott, at the age of 95. Born in Mangum, Okla, Oct. 26, 1911, she attended Oklahoma Baptist University and qualified as a teacher. She moved to Prescott and 1936, where she began a career as a public school teacher. She taught in the Groom Creek, Chino Valley, and, for many years, and Prescott - mostly as a first grade teacher at Washington school. She retired from teaching in 1969.
Mrs. Toci was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mangum and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, national teacher's sorority.
In 1943, she married Orlando J. Toci of Prescott. After 42 years of marriage, he predeceased her in 1985. She was also predeceased by her parents and eight brothers and sisters, all of whom live or were raised in Mangum.
Mrs. Toci is survived by her daughter, Margaret Toci Stephenson of Balleroy, France; a son-in-law, James Stephenson; two grandsons, David Stephenson of Marietta, Ga., and Mary Stephenson of Miami, Fla; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Wong Stephenson; and a great granddaughter Mireya Hope Stephenson.
A visitation will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb.10, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Prescott, with internment at Mountain View Cemetery at 4 p.m.
