The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/08/2011 Daniel C. Mora, 81, died July 3, 2011, in Show Low. He resided in McNary, and was a member of the Catholic Church. Daniel enjoyed spending his time in the outdoors and loved his time that he was able to spend with his family. He was a hard worker and spent time working as a mill rite at the old McNary mill. Daniel's sweetheart, Zerferina G. Mora, whom he married in McNary, preceded him in death Feb. 13. He is survived by his daughter, Vivian Kinney of McNary; granddaughter Victoria Kinney of McNary, grandsons: Jeffery Kinney and Harrison Kinney Jr. both of McNary. He is also survived by his two great-granddaughters: Justina Cheney and Kyra Garcia; and by his five great-grandsons: Caden James, Justin Cheney, Isaiah Kinney, Dillan Garcia, and Isaac Daniel Kinney; three brothers: Eustaquio Mora of Lakeside, Vincent Mora of Phoenix, and Abel Carillo of Flagstaff. Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Zerferina, his parents, son Joe D. Mora, daughter, Molly Mora, and five sisters: Mary Silversmith, Benita Montoya, Juanita Barreras, Reina Garcia, and Dorothy Chavez. A one day wake will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 8, at 502 Cinder Mtn. Court in McNary. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at the McNary Catholic Church. Arrangements were handled by Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor and Whiteriver.
